I love how you got your depth of field through the softness of the watercolor technique. It's soft in all the right places, but also has great definition in the cheeks and face. The personality shines through.

I've tryed painting cats with watercolors before with horrendous results. Furry things are not easy :)

Thank you! Yes, this takes some practice. But in fact, it is much simpler than a portrait of a person. Happy painting!
