Is this the Orphan Black actress? She has a wonderful face. I love the feel of this drawing.

thanks, it isn't a portrait of that actress, and I dont see significant resemblence, maybe a little?, not sure, maybe on a specific photo of her or something.

Funny, I can only see her in this (pic below). I guess because I don't know the model's face as well as you, you've handled her so gently in the drawing it makes sense its not fan art, and better for it.

Why not use charcoal though. I look at graphite as a learning man’s/woman’s tools. I hate the way graphite has that silvery shine in the light. Fabre Castell has a set of “Matte” graphite pencils. It still has a small bit of shine to them, but not nearly as much as other brands. Overall though, I’d just use charcoal pencils. Nevertheless, this is a good drawing

From my experience that shine only happens when you press really hard. Besides that I don't see what's wrong with using graphite for full pieces...
Kung_Fool_ t1_j1pf37x wrote
Yea I guess you’re right about the pressing hard part. Nothing wrong with using it, it has a nice appearance, just always hated the silvery shine it gives. But with your lite shading style, you don’t suffer from that so it’s understandable.

thanks for the feedback, i tend to use graphite as this is the tool I have used to practise and learn all the stuff, and also graphite tends to be more precise, I really like using 0.3 and 0.5 mechanical pencils, charcoal can`t get that sharp imo.

Very sexist comment.

What? How is anything either of us said sexist?

If you don't see it, then you are simply a troll.

Maybe you’re just easily offended and find offense where there is none. Explain to me how is saying graphite in my opinion is a tool for a beginner/learning stage offensive. You know what, don’t even explain, just remove yourself and delete your cancel culture ass comment.

Another red flag. You think that you can intimidate someone into deleting a comment on Reddit? LOL!!! TROLL!!

Again, commanding someone to do something on Reddit. Who gave you permission to try to be the control freak you've always wanted to be?
