Unfortunately that's not enough. I had long, wavy hair for fifteen years and I'm certain that even in the best circumstances this would get tangled up.

Maybe learn how to use hair pins properly or just don't buy something that wouldn't work with your hair... personally I have hair that is almost waist length and thick and I think this would be a lovely price. Perhaps you just need more experience in how to do up dos so you don't get it caught up....don't blame a product for user error!!
