Reminds me of those pictures that recreate what stroke victims see, pretty cool.

It's mega weird and kind of makes me feel uncomfortable. You just keep trying to make out familiar forms but you just can't. A good piece of art for sure!

I love the false sense familiarity in these forms! Well done! Do you have any more art work in this style?

yes very nice that you can see that, but the seed image i painted my self and then i look what the AI comes up with, ill take the ones that speak to me the most, maybe change them in photoshop and feed them into the AI program again until i am happy with the result

Reminds of Dali, has that same kind of mindfuck quality. Thought-provoking and psychedelic, I like it.

Looking at it I feel like a caveman tripping balls and looking out of my cave at my friends and the sheep we have, about to invent religion lol.

In all seriousness though, it's a really nice piece and I love both the composition and the colours.

It reminds me of that โ€œname one thing in this photoโ€ meme, you canโ€™t

You painted an AI painting!

Let me guess, the prompt was โ€œFamily Fun at the Beachโ€.

I really like the work. I have a very similar process. I use AI to generate images based on prompts that describe moments in my life that I have no record of. I like that it is sort of like asking the collective internet to picture what I am trying to remember. I usually blend a few variations into one painting. There is something nice about the intersection between the deeply personal and the artificially compiled. Nice to see someone else using AI in a similar way.

This looks like it was AI generated

no, not quite. i dont work with prompts but with my paintings i feed into the program and then i generate variantions of that and mess around with it until im happy with the result and then i paint it ^^

i fully agree: sometimes i feel the AI is "more human" than I am for it comes up with such smooth and balanced compositions, just like you say: as if the whole internet was thinking about it collectively in an ideal artisticly creative way.

the problem with prompts is: if i say beach, it actually generates a beach, so it would for a tree or people or whatever. but my own paintings are already the amount of weirdness i want my paintings to have and the AI tries to imitate that. for example: it sees humanoid figures, but also notices theyre no actual humans, so it comes up with something distorted and that is just pure gold to me, it looks so beautifull, you should se my collection, this just changed my whole work flow.

very Interesting approach. The ai and human collaboration is highly relevant. the somewhat familiar, yet irritating shapes and composition create an eerie dream-like feeling. Iโ€™d recommend to display them on opensea to further emphasize the metaphor

thank you. but nfts didnt work for me, for that to be succesfull you need at least a big followership or a marketing campaign, nobody will find a single picture on OS for the sheer amount of outo generated mints flooding in every second.

AyyEffTee OP t1_jdq72f6 wrote

i would love to see the result :) since the ai also tryes to recreate your style, its different for everybody. on open AI you also have the option to "outpaint" your pictures, which means, the program will fill empty space around your picture in a similar style, infinite possibilitis. thats how i work with vertical formats for AI just generates square pictures

Yeah, I have similar ideas about using some in-and out-painting to compose some interesting landscape. First of all I have to improve some of my scratches by ai and then I'll pace them on the bigger compound. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I understand and agree that opensea is a bloated mess. However, my last commentโ€™s point was not to offer the art on opensea but to integrate the opensea framework in your next piece to underline the human/ai tension point and actuality of your method, so to speak
